If you would like to recommend a grant distribution through your DAF sponsor, please use our EIN tax identification number 58-1674794.

Qualified Charitable Distributions

Do you have a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your Individual Retirement Account that you need to satisfy before the end of the year? Consider making a donation to Habitat for Humanity using a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). Foundation Society

The Foundation Society is a leadership giving society whose members contribute at least $1,000 annually to Habitat for Humanity of Durham in support of neighbors seeking to purchase or repair affordable homes. Foundation Society members also enjoy the benefits of invitation to special events, insider news and information, and engagement opportunities. Car Donations

Gifts of used vehicles can build homes through Habitat’s Cars for Homes program. By designating Durham Habitat as the recipient of the proceeds, you can help build homes in Durham County.
