The Foundation Society is a leadership giving society whose members contribute at least $1,000 annually to Habitat for Humanity of Durham. Membership in the Foundation Society makes you an active partner in eradicating substandard housing in Durham.
Members support our neighbors who turn to Habitat for Humanity of Durham to build, purchase, and repair affordable homes. Foundation Society members also enjoy the benefits of dynamic community recognition, access to special events, as well as select volunteer and donor opportunities.
For more information about the Foundation Society, contact Lindsay Humbert, Annual Giving Officer, at 919-682-0516, ext. 114, or email@example.com.

QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTIONS
Do you have a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your Individual Retirement Account that you need to satisfy before the end of the year? Consider making a donation to Habitat for Humanity using a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). A QCD can satisfy your RMD and up to $100,000 of QCDs may be excluded annually from your taxable income. For more information, call Nick Bodnar at Edward Jones at (919) 401-5277 today.
You can donate used and new building materials and more to one of the Triangle area ReStores – visit the ReStore site for more information.
Gifts of used vehicles can build homes through Habitat’s Cars for Homes program. By designating Durham Habitat as the recipient of the proceeds, you can help build homes in Durham County.
