If you’ve ever wanted to help Habitat, but don’t feel like construction is the right fit, there are several opportunities to get involved: 

OFFICE SUPPORT

Durham Habitat occasionally seeks long-term office volunteers, with great interpersonal and computer skills, who can make a regular weekday commitment.

THE HABITAT RESTORE

Volunteer opportunities at the ReStore include:

• Donation processing (accepting, sorting, cleaning, testing, and pricing donations)
• Customer service (greeting customers and managing the register)
• Office administration (answering phones, entering data, and clerical tasks)
• General maintenance

SITE HOSPITALITY

Help construction volunteers feel like a valuable part of the Habitat team by welcoming them on the work site with purchased or handmade treats or meals. Email the Volunteer Manager for more information.
