Rotary Club of Durham and Customers Bank Empower Veterans Through Support of Habitat for Humanity of Durham’s Veterans Build Week

Durham, N.C. (November 2025) — Habitat for Humanity of Durham proudly announces the generous support of the Rotary Club of Durham and Customers Bank, whose contributions helped make this year’s Veterans Build Week a resounding success.

Veterans Build Week is Habitat Durham’s annual initiative to honor those who served by repairing, preserving, and building safe, affordable homes for veterans and their families. Thanks to the philanthropic leadership of the Rotary Club of Durham and Customers Bank, more veterans are now able to remain secure, independent, and rooted in the communities they fought to protect.

The Rotary Club of Durham provided a significant financial gift of $7,000 and powered the build with hands-on volunteer labor—reflecting their long-standing ethos of Service Above Self. Customers Bank strengthened the effort with both volunteer support and a $1,000 donation, underscoring their continued commitment to community impact and veterans’ well-being. They also attended a build day.
