Framed
For forty years, Habitat for Humanity of Durham has been in the business of walls. We’ve put up close to 500 of them. That’s homes built and sold at zero-percent interest to Durham families who work here, teach here, care for our sick here, and could not otherwise afford to stay here. We’ve repaired nearly a thousand more so that neighbors could age in the houses they already loved. This fall, we’re asking Durham’s artists to help us put something on those walls and to help us build the next ones.
FRAMED is the first art show fundraiser in Habitat for Humanity of Durham’s history. One evening. Local work on easels throughout the room. Soft music, a bar, hors d’oeuvres, and a room full of people who came out because they believe a home is a foundation for everything else. A portion of every sale goes directly into building and repairing homes in this city.

2026 Upcoming Events
Habitat for Humanity of Durham, North Carolina (Durham Habitat) has launched its Summer Raffle Series, giving community members the chance to win a Frigidaire Gallery 36-inch French-Door Refrigerator while helping advance Durham Habitat’s mission to build homes, communities and hope.
The first raffle in the series features a Frigidaire Gallery Standard-Depth French-Door Refrigerator with Dual Ice Maker, Model GRFS2853AF. The fingerprint-resistant stainless steel refrigerator offers 27.8 cubic feet of capacity and features CrispSeal® Plus Crispers, an adjustable temperature drawer, dual ice makers, EvenTemp™ cooling, PurePour™ water and ice filtration, LED lighting and other premium features.
The refrigerator has an estimated retail value of approximately $2,300 to $3,000.
“This raffle gives our community another exciting way to support Durham Habitat’s mission while having the opportunity to win an exceptional prize,” said President Burns. “Every ticket purchased helps us build and repair homes, strengthen neighborhoods and create greater stability and opportunity for families throughout Durham. When our community invests in Habitat, that support reaches far beyond the walls of a house—it helps families build stronger financial futures and creates lasting impact for generations.”

Ticket sales will close October, 15 2026, at noon, with the drawing taking place after 4:00 p.m. on Oct 15th
