Women Build![]() Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity International program that trains women to make a difference by building homes and communities. Thousands of houses have been built by women crews around the world - at the end of 2008, more than 1,400 homes since Women Build's official creation in 1998. Women Build brings together women from all walks of life to address, in a concrete way, the housing crisis facing millions of women and children across the globe. Decent, affordable housing is not a feminist issue; it is a quality of life issue facing families everywhere. Habitat is training women to become effective volunteers, better equipped to fight poverty housing. Click here to learn more about Habitat's Women Build.
