Special Construction Opportunities

Site Hospitality: Welcoming construction volunteers
Help construction volunteers feel like a valuable part of the Habitat team. Welcome construction volunteers to the work site and provide them with everything they need to make sure they have a safe and pleasant experience. Get to know the people who are making a difference in your community by making a difference in their lives. Contact Alice to learn more about site hospitality opportunities.

Geezers
A self-named and dedicated group of retired volunteers, the Habitat Geezers, work from 8:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. every Thursday. You're never too old to make a difference!  Contact Heather at (919) 880.2432 if you would like to learn more.

Volunteer Crew Leaders
Crew leadership is perfect for the person who has been bitten by the Habitat bug and wants to get more involved. Crew leaders work under the guidance of our site supervisors to lead small groups of construction volunteers in specific tasks. These construction volunteers receive more in-depth training and make commitments to regular weekend work. They will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of different tools, materials and construction processes. Interested? Contact Heather at (919) 880.2432 to become a volunteer crew leader.
