Volunteer: Office Work

If you’ve ever wanted to help Habitat, but don’t feel like construction is the right fit, this is the job for you! Office volunteers are an important part of keeping Habitat of Durham running smoothly behind the scenes. Volunteers work closely with the office staff to keep up with the many administrative tasks necessary to keep us building houses.

Office Work 101

Office volunteer opportunities are available Monday - Friday

Shifts available from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00p.m.

Must be at least 14 years old.

Duties may include: Enter volunteer data into the software system, prepare mailings, assist with volunteer recognition activities, assist with filing and paperwork, participate in special departmental projects, organize event materials

Skill Requirements:

Good general organization skills

Comfortable with computers
