If you’ve ever wanted to help Habitat, but don’t feel like construction is the right fit, there are several opportunities to get involved.
Family Selection Committee
The Family Selection Committee reviews and personally visits potential applicants to determine if they meet the criteria for Durham Habitat's homeownership program. Members commit to at least one year of volunteer service. The committee meets every second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm. For more information contact Lakeisha.
Durham Habitat occasionally seeks long-term office volunteers, with great interpersonal and computer skills, who can make a regular weekday commitment.
We are currently looking for a Volunteer Receptionist.
