Durham United for Durham Habitat

Posted |

Durham United is the unstoppable team made up of City of Durham employees and County of Durham employees. This group comes together in service of their community with more than 400 people from more than 100 departments volunteering and fundraising for Habitat of Durham each year.

Right now they are focusing on helping fund and build a home in partnership with the Capers family. Durham United is building on the home site each Friday and working creatively with several grass roots fundraising efforts. They have also made it possible for employees to donate pre-tax from their monthly pay checks to Habitat of Durham through the Seven Stars program.

Join Durham United on Friday, Sept 19, from 10am to 4pm for a jewelry fair to benefit Habitat!
