With this memorandum, DARA agrees to partner with Duke Habitat, one of our undergraduate campus chapters, to raise funds through the "Doing Good in the Neighborhood Campaign," and other sources.and Habitat for Humanity of Durham.

In addition, DARA will support the Duke Habitat Campus Chapter in co-sponsoring and building a Habitat home during this and the upcoming fiscal year. This year's Habitat home will be built in partnership with the Thuku-Kabata family in Southwest Central Durham.

Durham Habitat is thankful for the long-term support of Duke Habitat and DARA in building community!

Habitat Success Stories

“Five years ago, a tree fell on my house and caused all but one room to leak. I used all my funds, so I called Habitat for Humanity, which helped me build a new roof. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life, and I just want to thank everyone at Habitat. God bless you!" - Rita
