Come "Plogging" with The House That Running Built and Durham Habitat

Saturday, November 17th, 11:30 am  - 123 Chestnut St, Durham

Come out for an easy run or walk while picking up litter! "Plogging" (running/walking while picking up litter) is all about keeping the environment healthy while also keeping your body healthy with outdoor exercise! Join this cleanup with our friends at Keep Durham Beautiful and help clean up the surrounding area with fellow runners from The House That Running Built.

The House that Running Built is a Durham Habitat home build whose fundraising is all being done by a group of runners! Come show your support by helping pick up litter in the surrounding neighborhood - the home they are building is in Durham's historic Southside neighborhood, near the American Tobacco Trail, at 123 Chestnut St (closest ATT entrance is at Enterprise St, or the Trail Head near the Durham Bulls ballpark).

You will run or walk and stop when you come across a piece of trash or recyclable item. Put it in either your trash bag or your recyclable bag and move on — it's as easy as that. Bring your friends and family- people of all ages are welcome!
