Durham Habitat organizes three major fundraising events each year and depends on generous neighbors to organize the events.  All event sponsors are recognized in signage, promotional materials, and on the website.

Foundation Breakfast

Durham Habitat’s Foundation Breakfast is an annual spring fundraising event that shares our community impact through inspirational testimonies.  Breakfast sponsors serve as hosts, inviting other neighbors to join them at the event, and are recognized through signage. This year's event will be held on Thursday, April 25 at 7:30 am at the Cotton Room in Golden Belt.

Bike Rides

Durham Habitat organizes two bike rides through the streets of Downtown Durham and rural Durham County, culminating with a party at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.  The summer Bull Moon Bike Ride is geared toward casual riders, while the Halloween Bike Ride focuses on cyclists who ride 31, 62, or 100-mile routes.  Event sponsors underwrite the costs of organizing the bike rides and provide in-kind gifts.
