All grown up!

In 2006, Cynthia Holland and her son AJ purchased their Habitat home in Durham’s Golden Belt neighborhood. Ten-year old AJ joined Habitat’s Youth United to raise funds to build a Habitat home. Despite being told “it wouldn’t work,” AJ mailed letters to names picked at random from the phone book, and he raised $1,075!
